#12 Arnold Schoenberg

Schoenberg's earlier was very seemed like it flowed right onto the score without thinking, almost a stream of consciousness. He was an advocate of compositions that came naturally to the creator. During the post war years he created his new Twelve Tone scale which helped him create a new sound. Personally, I don't really like Schoenberg's work especially Pierrot Lunaire. I thought that it was almost too innovative to the point were it made no sense. However, he does seem to care a lot about how his music is created. He mentions that he would spend days reviewing his work so that it captures the exact vision that he had planned out.
